Review: I purchased this handy GPS last summer, but could not afford the local topo map. The base map was good and I love the elevation and trip so you know how far you really hiked. Haven't gone out with the topo SC card map, but played around a lot with it and it looks great. This unit has very long battery life ( a major reason I chose it ) and has gotten top reviews. It has a great color display, is waterproof and floats. Used it last week in Dennis Cove and assisted a bunch of hikers al asking how far to the road. just pulled it out and instantly told them!
