Laurel Caverns

0.00 out of 5

Laurel Caverns is a privately-owned show cave and is the largest cave in the state of Pennsylvania. This cave is unique from others in that it is formed out of low calcium limestone. As a result, the walls have a sandy appearance and their are much fewer formations than in a higher calcium limestone cave.

The three-hour tour descends 46 stories into the earth down sometimes steep passageways.

Total length is 16,312 feet.
