Bat Cave Guano Mine

0.00 out of 5

The Bat Cave Guano Mine, located in the Grand Canyon, was discovered by passing boaters in the 1930s and it was later turned into a guano mine. The mine wasn't very profitable and it shut down in the 60s, and the cave was later bought by the NPS and added to Grand Canyon National Park. Tours still run to the cave today, and visitors can still see relics from the historic mining operation.
