Ape Cave

4.67 out of 5

Spectacular lava cave located at the foot of Mount Hood. The ranger station at the cave entrance rents lanterns and flashlights (check for hours of operation). The entrance is accessible with stairs and walkways leading into the main tunnel. The tunnel leads down to a dead end on one end while the other end features a second entrance/exit to the cave. Roughly 3 miles of passageways (round trip).
