Western Kentucky, the lake region, gives campers a unique experience to enjoy Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley along with 4 major rivers. Beach and lakefront camping offer outdoor activities like swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and fishing. Central Kentucky provides open plains within the Bluegrass Region, and in south central Kentucky campers can experience cave country.
