West Texas has scenic campsites in desert valleys as well as secluded campgrounds along the wooded mountain slopes. The Rio Grande provides some riverside camping near the border of Mexico. You can even find campgrounds near cities like Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas as well!
