This ultra light cooking system is made for two out on the trail and has everything you could ever want in a back country cooking system. The Halulite Microdualist was built with function in mind and everything compactly fits together, even with room for your stove, like an MSR Pocket Rocket, and fuel canister.

The foundation of this system, 1.4L pot, is large enough for any back country meal. The lid comes with a strainer built in and a silicone seal to keep you from burning yourself as you strain pasta, etc. GSI Outdoors has created a lightweight pot with excellent heat transfer that can even be cleaned with sand and a dry cloth.

For added comforts from home the system comes with two bowls and two mugs that nest neatly with each other. Each mug comes with a silicone hand cozy and sip top lid; these make for a cozy night around the campfire or cozy morning watching the sunrise.

Two tele-spoons make for compact, lightweight eating out on the trail while the stove bag keeps your mini stove separated from eating surfaces.

The entire kit fits with in a Welded Sink that functions as both the carrying case and a mini kitchen sink to wash up after a delicious meal.

This kit is built for fast and light backpacking and it is clear that GSI took comfort, efficiency and performance to heart. I give this cookset full marks and it has earned its place in my pack for miles to come.

Thanks to GSI for letting us review this great cookset.  These can be purchased from GSI for about $55 here.

We have an older version of the GSI dualist and love it! It’s the best little backpacking cooking kit ever!
