The campground is good if you have an RV / Camper but it really is not a good place to use tents. The Bear creek is a good place to fish for Catfish & Crapie. It is a C- for Brim/pearch, C for Bass, and no known stripe bass has been caught. There is a beach / swim area close to the campground with a small store only open during summer months. This place is approx 15 miles from a small town of 2,500 people in Red Bay, AL. There are a few other communities in the area and three gas station / stores within 5 miles.
