This is a primitive National River Campground next to the Buffalo River. There are able 7 or 8 sites with a picnic table, fire ring, lamp post and one central vault toilet. It's absolutely free to camp here. A lot of people come to this location to start their canoe trips. Also, in the summer there are fireflies everywhere.

This place was pretty decent for being free. There are a few walk in sites and a few more you can pull right up to. There's one vault toilet (which wasn't too disgusting). You can walk right down to the river and walk through it. You can also go on canoe trips. The tall bluffs on either side of the river are really scenic. My favorite part was watching all the fireflies at night. We don't have any down in central Florida, so it was a real treat to see them here!
