I didn't end up camping here but we stopped and ate lunch then walked on the beach. It seems to me like a pretty cool party spot. It's mostly primitive with just vault toilets (which are pretty dirty and smelly). It would be a great place to spend the day and have a barbecue. Or, if you like sleeping next to the ocean, then this is your spot. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to hear the waves crashing at night.
