Campground Description

Lots to see and do close to Atlanta. Take in a laser show, hike to the top of the mountain, rent a paddle boat, or have a picnic in one of many picnic areas. There's even a golf course within walking distance of the campground. Great place to bring the kids and the bikes!

It's an okay park but what's fucked up is they restrict people from swimming in the water.

I agree, there used to be a decent water park at the lake. However, they had to close off swimming access due to some kind of contamination years ago (chemicals? sewage?) so I'm ok with staying out. :)

Overall, this is a pretty nice campground. There are restrooms with showers, which is always a plus. The campsites are right next to a lake, and there is a good view of the backside of the mountain.
