Nine Eagles State Park is a hidden secret of Decatur County. Whether you are here to fish, camp, swim or just relax, we hope you enjoy your stay. Rugged wooded hills and valleys abundant with oak trees make Nine Eagles one of southern Iowa`s most scenic parks. The park includes trees more than 300 years old. Visitors enjoy six miles of bridle trails and nine miles of hiking trails, swimming at the sandy beach, pleasant camping areas and shaded picnic spots with tables and fireplaces scattered throughout the park.

I've traveled to the great state of Iowa with the family twice just to stay at this sweet spot. Always clean and accessible. The camp hosts couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!
