The 6,400-acre Chicot State Park encompasses rolling hills and the Lake Chicot. The beautiful park provides excellent opportunities for fishing, hiking, backpacking, camping and picnicking. There are also playgrounds on the property for children to enjoy. The park also offers rentable cabins and boats, as well as a swimming pool for your convenience.
The park's 20 rentable cabins sleep a fair amount of people and contain all you need from cookware to appliances. There are also 208 campsites on the property with electrical and water hookups, as well as a primitive camping area.

Chicot has closed their pool, but now have a splash pad.
Beautiful place, with deer, raccoons, opossums, foxes and lots of birds.
North campground is flat for kids to bike. There are a lot of groups and relatives that camp there, but it tends to be pretty quiet.
