There are 17 miles of waterway from Hardy Dam to Rogers Dam for recreational waterskiing, swimming, fishing or boating. This is a great area for camping, hiking and a brilliant view of the fall colors with the blue waters and the white sandy beaches. It's simply a breathtaking sight for the whole family to enjoy.

This is a private campground (which I'm not used to stay at) but I really liked it. They have showers, which is a plus, and the lake is really pretty. We stayed in a primitive tent site away from all the RVs and it was nice and quiet. The host was very welcoming, too.

This campground has plenty of amenities and there are a lot of things to do there and nearby. The people who run the park are nice and will go out of their way to help out. If you can, get a site with a view of the water. Beware: I got some really bad gasoline from the store just outside the park.
