Silver Creek Park is a forested campground of 320 acres with peaceful primitive campsites. Picnic table and fire pit are available at each campsite. Even though roads within the campground are dirt, county roads leading to campground are paved, perfect for road biking. With 30 miles of horseback riding trails located in the Allegan State Game Area, it is common for horses in the area. Silver Creek Park also has 450 feet of frontage on Silver Creek, which is a spring fed trout stream. Because the area is primarily wooded, there is plenty of shade in the hot summer months and some spectacular foliage color in the fall. In keeping with the primitive setting, there are no modern restrooms or running water, but there are hand pumps and vault toilets. Silver Creek Park is open year round and has some spectacular fall and winter camping available.
Trails are available in the park, connecting to 30 miles of equestrian trails that are available for hiking. Side trails have been created along the creek for hiking.

Large campsites! Lots of trees for forest surroundings. Secluded so you don't have to worry about neighbors. Vault toilets and pump water. Bring your own road bike, horse or walking shoes and you'll love this campground. Can see how fall or winter camping would be perfect here. Summer is great here too, as there is plenty of shade. Shallow, running creek doesn't allow mosquitoes to lay eggs.
