This campground is perfect for people who want to be secluded. The sites are large and private and the mature pines provide shade from the sun and even keep a light rain from soaking everything. There is no swim beach on the campground itself but there is plenty of swimming spot a short ride down the channel. I love this campground when we need a weekend away from people, the fact that is not near a large town keeps it from being packed unless it is a holiday weekend. Great for people with pets too, as the sites are large.
