I went here for a week long primitive camp, the campsite was nice, they had rules against collecting firewood as usual, but their firewood rates were expensive, and the wood was dry and burnt up quick. The lake would have been alright for fishing if I had a watercraft but the side of the lake which they allow tent camping on was all boggy, muddy and algae shallows, so I didn't have much luck doing any fishing. No one was at the tent site itself, and it was a peaceful, fun experience. I would go here again but not for anything more than pitching a tent, drinking and having a good time. If fishing is a major factor in your choice I, personally would not recommend it

My family and I love Paul B. We camp there regularly. We use the primitive lots. The place is kept clean and beautiful. We plan to make this one of our regular weekend and holiday spots.

Very beautiful! Easy place to relax, enjoy nature, & have fun with friends and family. Great disc golf course and the lake is amazing! A really nice playground for the kids and the splash pad is great. The campgrounds are clean, spacious, and peaceful... I highly recommend, www.msrefuge.org
