Please be careful if you go out to the lake. Do not go at night. My friend's son and his wife were just chased down by a mountain lion. After running to their truck, the lion chased their car going 40mph. It was the height of a deer but much much wider. By the grace of Jesus they are alive and safe but be forewarned of the danger out there. Supposedly there have been similar sightings from others.

Big cats like that are VERY rare in Missouri. Also Bear are not usually in our area either - usually in southern part of state. Do not avoid this camp because you are afraid of big cats... Right now it is a once in a lifetime event in the Kansas City area.
