The St. Francois State Park consists of about 2,700-acres of wooded ridges, diverse hiking trails, access to the Big River and over 100 campsites. Fishing, boating, exploring, canoeing and picnicking are all very common activities here.

Very family friendly with easy access to the river at numerous locations. A few playgrounds for children and ranger lead activities there is something for everyone. Many picnic areas,some with creek access. There is also an equestrian area and trails for those who have horses.
