    Campground Activities

There are many trails around and the FR150 is a light-traffic gravel/dirt road. The trailhead for Trail 94 is at the rear of the campground and is an out & back day hike 8.6 mile trail into the Gila Wilderness.

Because it is a meadowlike setting, you will see birds, possibly deer, bear & elk.

There are no designated campsites, but dispersed camping is allowed. There is no garbage pickup at this location so please practice Leave No Trace camping and pack out everything you pack in.
