We camp here year after year. Love it. Nice and quiet, you really feel you are getting away from it all here. We have only ever run into nice campers. The lake is cold but my hubby and son love fishing. We've seen elk at one end of the lake in early evenings one year. There are bathrooms, no showers. Water spicket (?) to use also. Knock on wood, we've never had a problem with animals in our area other than a raccoon at night but it never got into our coolers. Fire pits are great. Easy to find down wood for campfires. It's a long drive from ABQ, but worth it. We just love it here!
