Campground Description

Welcoming pets and people, the Tucumcari KOA calls itself "the friendliest stop on I-40." There's plenty of room for the largest and smallest RVs on the road in our extra long and level pull thru sites, plus our tent areas have grass! Our "Desert Oasis" offers fabulous views of Tucumcari Mountain, plateaus, mesas and pastures. In this quiet country atmosphere, the traveler will find the relaxation needed after a long day's travel in our new pool or relief for those tired muscles in our new hot tub! Enjoy dinner or breakfast delivered to your site or join us in our cozy dining area. Come spend a couple of days or longer and enjoy fishing at nearby Ute Lake or Conchas Lake State Parks, and travel along the numerous Scenic Byways to see the unique landscape and a variety of wildlife. From Route 66 Neon and history to dinosaurs and larger-than-life size murals, to a game of golf at the municipal golf course, Tucumcari offers something for everyone!
