Lake Greenwood State Recreation Area, located on a series of peninsulas on 11,400-acre Lake Greenwood offers great fishing for bass, crappie, bream, perch, catfish, stripers. Three boat ramps allow access to the lake.
Camping is available with 125 paved sites, some of which can handle RV's up to 40 feet.
Hiking the short nature trail, picnicking, educational programs, company meetings, family reunions, and even weddings are all popular. All sites are paved and have water and electric hookups. Some sites can handle RV's up to 40 feet. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring and are convenient to restrooms with hot showers.
