Rated 1 as in "very poor". Would assign a lower rating if available. Above description sounds delightful, but this campground was not. The restroom near the office was old and not very clean. Jacuzzi was not clean. Can hear highway noise. Campsite was not level (higher in front and leaned to the left).

Shocked when we were charged double the rate quoted on the telephone. Arrived after hours, and following instructions given on the telephone, selected a site marked on the site map at the after hours check in that matched the quoted rate. Was very clear over the telephone about the size of our unit and the exact type and location of site needed. Repeated rate.

Man checking us out said we must have called another campground although I called the number in the KOA book and the KOA Point South telephone number was on my cell phone two hours before our arrival. He never looked at us once and charged the higher rate on our credit card, no discussion. I consider this an unacceptable business practice and total lack of customer service. I will not return to this KOA and do not recommend this campground.
