You have to drive down a long unpaved road to get to this free campground. It's a pretty decent place to stay within the Badlands. There's a big open meadow for tents and mountains all around. We saw quite a few bison grazing around in the morning which was an added bonus.

You can stay at this campground for free! It's on the west side of Badlands National Park. If you're lucky, bison might be grazing through the sites when you wake up. There are shaded picnic tables, a vault toilet, and trash cans.
