This wasn't a favorite park. Not beautiful, not a lot to do here. You can swim, but the water didn't look all that inviting. It's just not a favorite. Nothing wrong with the amenities.
The park itself is just off of the town square, but it's a small town. We missed the park entirely on the first trip past in the dark.
We used it as a waypoint to make the drive in to Fredericksburg and Luckenbach, and we also drove over to Old Tunnel State Park to watch the bats fly out. That was REALLY NEAT but they have no camping there, so Blanco was the next best thing.
