Located on the north shore of the 750-acre Coffeemill Lake, Coffeemill Recreation Area was completed in 1968 with additional major construction done by volunteers in the early 1990s. The lake was built in the 1930s and provides many recreation opportunities.
A paved boat ramp and fishing pier are accessible from the campground's parking area. Picnic areas and campsites are accessible from a loop road around the camping area. Tent camping and limited RV space is also available.
Day use fee is $2 per vehicle, per day. Camping is $4 per night.

The camp host is a very nice couple. We have stayed their many times riding all of the trails. We take our 40' long horse trailer, it's easy to get into most of the drive thru camp areas. They've added more water faucets so water is closer. We do run our generator lol. But why be hot. One complaint I have is the people who leave trash on the trails come on u pack it in u pack it out right. The trails are shaded most of the way. It's sandy and all the trails are easy. The bathrooms are clean if you need to use them and there is a place to bath your mules/horses. We take our grandkids there because it's a wonderful family area. P.S. the host there usually has trail maps. MTM Ranch

Beautiful area. There is NO camp host to keep people from doing the right thing! I thought this was a tent camping site! I didnt see any hookups for RV's so the RV's took over the road instaed. with generators running all day (with no one home!) and late night arrivals that weren't very neighborly (2:15am)! The following morning the one tent camper within sight started blasting his radio at 7am. He thought someone had turned off his generator in middle of the night? The courteous thing would have been to turn it off after dark! I dont feel generators should be allowed in TENT campsites anywhere! Unfortunately rude generator owning campers ruined our "tent" camping trip to this locaton.
