Known for great white bass and crappie fishing, it also offers excellent hunting opportunities on the 10,000 acre wildlife management area. Granger Lake offers excellent recreational boating as well as jet skiing and sailing opportunities. Facilities include four parks with 133 class A campsites, restrooms with hot showers, swim beaches, screened shelters, sewer hook-ups, three large group shelters, fishing pier, playground and a hiking trail with a primitive campground. Attended a camping rally here. It is great for that purpose due to large sites and big ramadas with picnic tables. Some sites are shady. It was also nice to be able to book specific sites so we could all be camping together without having to arrive at the same time.
It's not like a state park - not a lot to do here. But the facilities are nice and we enjoyed the park. It was a great place for a rally, but I think it would be a boring camping destination for just the 2 of us.

Be ready for a hike if you want to get near water. No shade trees, but a nice covered picknick table at every spot. Park hosts were very nice
