Attended a camping rally here. It is great for that purpose due to large sites and big ramadas with picnic tables. Some sites are shady. It was also nice to be able to book specific sites so we could all be camping together without having to arrive at the same time.

It's not like a state park - not a lot to do here. But the facilities are nice and we enjoyed the park. It was a great place for a rally, but I think it would be a boring camping destination for just the 2 of us.

Be ready for a hike if you want to get near water. No shade trees, but a nice covered picknick table at every spot. Park hosts were very nice
