This walk was short, but sweet and incredibly rewarding. On our mid-March, Saturday walk, my wife and I didn't see anyone else on the trail, but we did see three types of ducks, a great blue heron, turtles, and an explosion of wild flowers. This would be a great one for families with small children or anyone who wants to be amazed by the quiet and beauty of a half mile stretch next to the freeway.
