Section Q of the Pacific Crest Trail runs 55.8 miles from Somes Bar-Etna Road at Etna Summit to Highway 96 at Seiad Valley. According to the official Pacific Crest Guide book, this section takes you past "the crown jewels of the Marble Mountain Wilderness: Black Mountain, Kings Castle and, of course, Marble Mountain itself.

Along the way this trail passes Fisher Lake, Marten Lake, Soft Water Spring, Paradise Lake, Buckhorn Spring, Grider Creek, Bark Shanty Creek, Road 46N66, Highway 96, and the Klamath River.
