Section B of the PCT runs 101.4 miles from the bridge of two-lane Highway 79 in Warner Springs, CA to Tamarack Road in Cabazon, CA near San Gorgonio Pass. This section of trail passes through the San Jacinto Mountains and includes the first true mountain views of the journey. As you exit the mountains, you'll drop 8,000 vertical feet down to the end of the B section at San Gorgonio Pass.

Along the way the PCT passes Agua Caliente Creek; Tule Canyon Creek; Kamp-Anza RV Park in Anza, CA; Table Mountain; Highway 74; Anza, CA; Trail 4E04; Fobes Ranch Trail 4E02; Apache Spring Trail; Idyllwild, CA; Wellmans Cienaga Trail; Marion Ridge Trail 3E17; San Jacinto River; and Fuller Ridge.
