Section D of the Pacific Crest Trail runs 112.5 miles from I-15 near Cajon Pass near Phelan, CA to Agua Dulce. This section of trail passes through the San Gabriel Mountains and contains the highpoint of the entire Southern California section: 9,399 feet atop Mount Baden-Powell.

Along the way the trail passes the Acorn Canyon trail; Wrightwood, CA; Guffy Campground; Angeles Crest Highway 2; Grassy Hollow Family Campground; Vincent Gap; Mount Baden-Powell; Windy Gap; Little Jimmy Spring; Little Jimmy Campground; Trail 3N04; Mt. Williamson; Rattlesnake Trail 10W03; Little Rock Creek; Burkhart Trail 10W02; Highway 2; Sulphur Springs Campground; Bare Mountain Canyon; Mill Creek Summit; Mt. Gleason's north ridge; Messenger Flats Campground; Acton, CA; Santa Clara River; Antelope Valley Freeway 14; and the VRCP trail.
