Section F of the PCT runs 84.1 miles from Highway 58 near Tehachapi Pass to Highway 178 at Walker Pass. The Tehachapi Mountains are considered the southernmost section of the Sierras, often referred to as the "Sierran Tail" or the "Sierran Hook." After exiting the Tehachapis, the PCT runs up to the Sierra Crest and follows that for the majority of this section.
Along the way the trail passes Golden Oaks Spring; Hamp Williams Pass; Cottonwood Creek; and Pinyon Mountain.
Trail length: 84 miles
