Heiser To Barr Trail is a difficult uphill climb to the pristine Manitou Reservoir. Once you reach the reservoir you start to head back down and the trail meets back up with the Barr Trail.

This is a hard 14 miles so make sure you're prepared and have plenty of water!

From the trail head to the top, we strolled about a mile off trail, and then back. Be ready to climb about 3k feet, and there is still plenty of snow on top as of early April. Would have lost the trail at several points if not for the tracks of a lone hiker. Great perspective of Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain, and Mt. Rosa from the top (Cascade Mountain)
