This is a very large preserve in Pinellas County which also features a really nice environmental and education center. It encompasses 8,700 square acres of land. There are several hiking and equestrian trails. The Blackwater Cutoff Loop Trail is 2.8 miles long and consists of both dry pine flatwoods and wet forested wetlands. The northern portion of the trail crosses one of the 13 channels of Brooker Creek. This area may be underwater during the summer months.
Trail length: 3 miles
