This preserve is covered with forest and includes hardwood hammock, seasonally flowing streams, and saw palmetto thickets. Interesting tree species include hickory, dogwood, longleaf pine, hophornbeam, ironwood, American holly, and swamp chestnut oak. The trail passes through oak hammocks, hickory groves, sparkleberry thickets, and flatwoods before returning hikers to the parking lot.

    Pretty little walk, much to look at. Tight little trail, but not at all hard to spot. Heavily wooded area, with a seasonal stream along the south end of the loop

    Nice hike with alot to look at. The trail isn't marked in any way, so just stay on the trail & don't stray far from it.
