On May 17, 2013 I exlplored this beautiful State Park it was so worth the stop. There were so many Clear shot photo opportunities of the mountain horizon. The hiking is challenging and there were 6 named trails you could fill a week long trip with hiking. There was 1 waterfall, a lake trail, and 4 other very difficult hiking trails. At the top of the mountain there was camping available for the overnight stays. There was tent, camper and cabins/cottages. This is a seasonal park because of the 2 mile straight up the mountain. When snow and ice hit the mountain the park closes. The park ranger said that there was a bear sighting in the camp site area yesterday morning.
