There are two waterfalls along the DeSoto Falls Trail. The lower falls cascade about 20 feet and the upper and most scenic falls drop 80 feet! Both are accessed by a maintained trail leading from the day use parking area. It is about 1/4 mile to the lower falls and about 3/4 mile to the upper falls. This is not a loop trail.

This is a short little trail that is perfect for getting out in the woods and enjoying the beauty of creation without having to really exert yourself. There are two waterfalls: the lower and upper falls. Both are definitely worth seeing! Check out some of the photos. There's a $3 parking fee. Was this helpful?

The trail is well worn and well maintained. There are a couple of falls. The larger falls is very nice. There is a wooden platform with a bench to sit and enjoy the falls. There is a nice creek that the falls flow into. The area had a park feel to it. Was this helpful?

The trail has beautiful falls but is so well-groomed to the point where it feels like you are walking on a sidewalk rather than a hiking trail. Overall, a good experience, though. Was this helpful?

I camped here next to a small creek and then hiked to the two waterfalls in the morning. It was a nice, easy hike through the trees. The waterfalls were not very tall, but nice to look at. It would be a good hike if you have small children. Was this helpful?

Short little hike with moderate climbs to the falls. The trail is pretty wide in most parts and mostly smooth. Good signage leading you from the day use parking lot through the campground and to the falls. $3 parking fee and pit toilets are available at the trailhead. There are also several shaded picnic tables located near the parking lot. Was this helpful?
