The F.D. Roosevelt State Park Georgia's largest state park at 9,049 acres. The park include more than 40 miles of trails making it a fantastic location for any hiker or camper. The 23-mile Pine Mountain Trail is the most popular. It winds through many coniferous and deciduous trees, over creeks and to waterfalls.

    Tremendous variety of terrain ... The bronze artwork of FDR on the Knob is very cool... Great photo spot! Rustic but very well kept buildings and a spring fed pool to use after a long hike!

    I absolutely did NOT like this park. I guess by now I am spoiled to all of the really wonderful State Parks Georgia has to offer. This park had no pizzaz, no charm, nothing that was interesting. Maybe it was me that day because I had just finished Callaway Gardens and that knocked my socks off. So I will post my photo's but I will never return to this park.
