This trail is rather quick, albeit a little strenuous at certain points, but pays off with the spectacular view from the top of table rock. The main attraction here is the peak itself of course which gives you a great view of the Chimney's, as well as a good chunk of Burke County and Morganton, NC. Other than the easy climb to the top, there are lots of climbing opportunities along the way up for climbers. This makes for a good half-day trip, as well as a nice stop before or after the Chimneys or the various other trails in the neighborhood.
