Sites were pleasant, and back up to woods. There are some that are more private than others. Latrines are portapotties in a building, except for showerhouses that have real flush toilets, but are very old and outdated. The most appealing thing is the plumbing! There's not much place to set things down or sit, and at night there were lots of bugs, and it just felt old and dirty. The swimming area was filled with goose poop and the bottom on the lake was too slimey for my kids to enjoy. While we did REALLY enjoy renting a kayak and canoe and exploring the lake that way, the marina itself (right next to the swim area) had water that was rather stagnant and murky with lota of floating "stuff" (natural, not trash, but not fresh either). The staff was great, and super friendly, and we will go back because we enjoyed the site and the location, and to do the bike trail and hike, and other non-swimming things. There's a playground, and camp store, and the dumping stations are actually quite nice, capped and with a hose right there! Certainly passes as nicer than completely primitive, but needs updating.

Sites are ok, not as "grassy" as I prefer. Not the best water/rivers. Showers and restrooms are serviceable. Would go back but, definitely never wowed

The park was very nice clean and quiet, but the swimming lake was nasty . What I thought was algae was actually geese feces and when i say that there was a lot i mean my daughter shook it off of her and left a trail of it. I would not recommend this for people who want to take there kids swimming.
