We were lucky to have picked a spot that was fairly level, site 50, and had full shade. The bath house was old but clean. The beach was small and had hardly any people on it. The lake was the best part of the campground and it the one thing that will tempt us to come back. We took our kayaks on the water and saw beautiful herons, wild flowers, and enjoyed the utter peace and beauty. People were friendly. Camp store very small. Had free movie and popcorn Saturday night and a breakfast cooked up for you Saturday morning by the Stonelick Community for a donation. Very nice. They offer several other things to do during the weekend such as a bike rodeo. Well patroled by rangers although be careful of the kids on their bikes as they zoomed around carelessly having fun:) Once the weekend was done, the campground became almost like your own private park. We camped there June 15-18th.
