First and foremost, this is a nature preserve. There are 3 hiking trails: Childress, Frank & Wilson Trails. The Childress Trail is about a half mile paved. It's the first loop from the parking lot and is easy for everyone. The Frank Trail is about 1 1/2 miles to the Ghost of Washington Irving Lookout, where it loops for the turnaround. There's a historical marker here and an overlook of Keystone Lake. This trail is Easy, with some gravel paths and switchbacks turning into wide grassy paths. The Wilson trail is much more strenuous, but, is also the best part of the trails here. it's about a mile loop with decent elevation changes, lots of rock formations and even one point where you can see parts of the lake. Overall, its a nice little surprise that not many know about. During the summer its only open one Saturday a month, but more available during the Fall.
